Education: 

Joana Rosmaninho-Salgado (JRS) is MD, PhD.  JRS did her PhD at the CNC - Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology, under Claudia Cavadas supervision, and at the Division of Hypertension, University of Lausanne (Switzerland) under Eric Grouzmann supervision. JRS did a pos-doctoral project at CNC that focused the role of Neuropeptide Y and DPPIV on adipose tissue physiology. She was the principal investigator of a funded FCT project that supported her research. JRS received scientific awards of the Portuguese Society of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism (SPEDM) and  the Award L’Oreal for Women and Science).
