Education: 

In 2008, Ana Patrícia Barreira Marques got her BSc degree in Biochemistry at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, University of Coimbra, Portugal.
In 2010, she got her Master degree in Biochemistry at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, with the experimental work performed at CNC - Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology of the University of Coimbra, under the supervision of Joana Rosmaninho-Salgado and Claudia Cavadas.
From June 2010 to September 2011, Ana Patrícia Marques had a Research Fellowship (BI) under a FCT project (PTDC/SAU_FCF/102415/2008).
Since 2011, Ana Patrícia Marques is a PhD student of the PhD Programme in Experimental Biology and Biomedicine at CNC with the project “Role of Hypoxia and fibrosis in White and Brown Adipose Tissue Regulation”, under the supervision of Joana Rosmaninho-Salgado and Claudia Cavadas.
