Sara E. Rebelo is a Biology graduate from the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra (2012) where she also obtained her Master’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology (2014) under the supervision of Professor Dr João Ramalho-Santos at the Biology of Reproduction and Stem cells group (CNC). Sara developed a thesis entitled “A Cat Problem: Characterization of Feline Spermatogonial Stem Cells”, having some of the results been presented at an international conference (European Testis Workshop) in that same year.
Currently she is working as Lab Technician of an in vitro study for the pharmaceutical Innothera (Laboratoire INNOTECH) to test potential compounds acting as spermicides at CNC.
