Area of Research: 

Identification of the molecular mechanisms underlying brain disorders either from the perspective of recapitulation of developmental features, under the rationale of the existence of an aberrant re-wiring of brain circuits that contributes to the evolution of neurodegenerative disorders, or evaluating the long-term impact of defects during brain development in the adulthood.
