What science is being carried out in Portugal? Who are our scientists? How do they work? What are they researching? Which results have they obtained?
Every year in November, during Science and Technology Week, research institutes, universities, schools, museums and science centres from around the country open their doors to the public for a remarkable journey through scientific knowledge. On November 24th we celebrate the National Day for Scientific Culture in memory of Rómulo de Carvalho.
The Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology takes part in this event since 1999. During this week we open our doors to schools and the general public, creating different opportunities for a visit to our laboratories in order to explain our research and teaching activities.
